Question about funds on a limited account

Hi, I've been harrassing these forums with a lot of questions the last days, and this is my last, I promise. :D

    Let's say that I...

    1. Created a PP account and bound a CC to it.
    2. Got some payments on it.
    3. Got it limited.

Will this limitation in any way affect the funds that were on the CC from the beginning? Or will it only affect the payment I got in step 2? Of course I'll probably be able to unlimit it but I just want to be sure that the credit card doesn't get screwed in any way. Thanks. ;)

Paypal does not have any authority over your bank or your credit card company. What would be limited is all existing funds in your paypal account. You can still use your credit card to make purchases in the stores and other online sites as long as it does not involve your paypal account.
