Question about free signup programs...

    Hello friends

I am new to affiliate marketing and I am starting out by marketing free signup programs like friendfinder etc. I have some questions and was wondering if someone of you could answer them-

1- What is the average payout rate of these free to signup programs?
2- What are the best affiliate networks for such programs?
3- Are all the offers that people signup credited by the affiliate network?
4- When the offer says that it can be "incentivized", then does it mean that I can pay other people for signing up for it?

Also if you guys could offer some other help too, then it would be very welcome.

    Thanks

    Hi Alec,

    Ok here I go...

    1) This can depend on the offer... usually quite low, with high click rates and conversion.
    2) *cough*
    3) Yes, as long as the network employs a decent tracking system, which MOST do.
    4) Yes, it means that your site can actively promote the offer and pay your user a 'reward' or incentive for signing up.

Feel free to fire any more Q's.

When the offer can be incentivized you can offer your visitors a reward for signing up to that offer. But offering money directly can attract fraudulent users, there are some threads discussing this on DP. Offering a free download, membership, points to your site can be a better option...

The payout differs from network to network so I think that is a good ideea to check some CPA networks and test the same offer on different networks to see where it brings you more money (less tracking problems - payout balance).

    Good luck
