Question about Facebook Like button

    You all know the facebook like button right? You put it on any page and when someone clicks, its counter increases.
    I noticed when I click the like button an entry is generated on facebook's profile which also has a like button.

    Are the two buttons connected? Are their count total the same?

    I would also want to know why some buttons ask me to include a comment and others dont.

    yes they are connected you have to be logged into facebook in order to like a page.

    their are different like buttons and that is why some have a comment box
