Question about duplicate content

Discussion in 'Search Engine Optimization' started by John Sharp, Nov 6, 2009.

At my blog all articles are original content written by me. I am going to start posting articles at Ezinearticles. Now If I use the articles I have at my blog to post on Ezinearticles will my blog site get flagged for duplicate content even though I am the original author?

Should I rewrite any article I post to Ezinearticles?

    Thank You

Ezinearticles might not approve your articles if they are lifted verbatim from your site. Do some rewriting of your articles and submit them to Ezine.

Better to avoid penalties, use an article spinner or change a bit the content...as the article sites use copyscape or tools to check if the article is unique.

There would be no problem with EzineArticles.
First wait till your blog post gets indexed and then you can submit the same to EA.
In your blog post, specify your ezinearticles author name.

Do not use same articles you use on your website for ezinearticles.
Write new articles because your site may rank 2nd or nowhere to same articles you publish on ezine.

I suggest you submit your articles to Ezinearticles once your articles get indexed by Google and other SEs, in our own site. After they are indexed, you can then submit them to article directories. In this way, SEs will find the fresh content in your site and your site will get boost for that content. And you then don't have to worry about duplication as SEs found the content first in your site.

Try to watch it here http://videoforward.com/video.php?video=1719. According to this google engineer, there is no such duplicate content penalty as long as they are not pasted at the same site.
