Question about double content

    Hi all,
    I have pdf and print view options in my CMS. those options make a article content as a pdf and doc. I want to know Is it double content for google or no?

    No it will not harm you . I have seen few pro blogs providing such options and they are not facing any problems . These blogs are too old and running very well .

    Google content department count each version of content as a separate if the extension of file is different. If you have same content on jpg, pdf, .swf or .htm it will fine. But if you have same content on .aspx, .php, .htm then this will count as duplicate.

    It's ok.. You should worry when ur double content is a way to trick Google.

    can google read pdf's files? what i mean is can they crawl the content of the pdf ?

    I think google actually stored pdf because I added disallow pdf content in robot.txt and google show warning to me in Google Webmasters tools.

    Are you sure they don't crawl it? I set up a .js file to show organic traffic to a few pdfs for a client and analytics is indeed collecting data.

    there are many who are having same content in different languages
