I'm going to register a domain about an american artist and i have two options left:

    www.firstlast.us
    &
    www.first-last.info

What would you choose? I'm interested in both SEO and if the user will search/remember for my site.

I'd go with the first, but my opinion really doesn't count much on this kind of thing. :)

in this case I would get both.

It doesnt cost much and you can always build two sites that compliment eachother.

.us is picking up in usage and value, if you have to choose, get the .us.

    I would go for both.

.us for the main site and .info for a smaller version with different article/content than the main site. Link to the us from the info.
