Question about domain and subdomain

    Now can anyone tell me that .co.in is considered as a domain or a sub-domain? I have no idea about it. I dont remember the source but I read somewhere that they are considered as subdomain. Is this true?

    Which means it is not a subdomain? Are regional domain names are considered equivalent to .com in terms of SEO?
