Question about Directory Submission

Hey Friends,

When I checked with few directories to submit my site and get a backlink, all required me to give a backlink to the directory itself. It seems a kind of link exchange.

Is that way all the directories are working? Let me know

Directories are of three types.They are one way,two way and the three way linking system.You are talking here about the two way linking system that is the reciprocal linking system.

I suggest you that do not submit your link to those directory who ask for reciprocal link, its better to exchange link with blogger or webmaster if they have good site.

I think you have came across with such directories which are have 2 way link exchange system, you can choose those directories which are free listings than reciprocal...

use should use free directory list for one linking.

 

You have also one way link directories. List of dofollow one way directories you can find in some thread on this forum. I suggest you not to do reciprocal links and if you have to do it, better do it with bloggers with contents similar to yours...
