I'm currently trying to populate a new online shopping website. We will be featuring local stores and artisians. Getting artisans on board is easy enough. Not so much with the stores. Is it legal? ethical? to just go to their websites and take their logo, contact information including their website link and a blurb and create a webpage for them in the directory? We don't want to upset anyone but we aren't getting a great response to email invitations. Thoughts?
