    Hello,

As a follow up to my last question about Digg and backlinks I want to ask some questions please:

    1. What is dig on digg.com?

    2. How do I dig my own link?

    3. Is it the same thing as posting comments to someone's post on digg.com?

    4. What is the importanbce of dig to my link on digg.co?

    Thanks for your answer

Digg is a social bookmarking site that can drive traffic to your site but it depends on the quality of your content. You can dig your site by submitting it to digg.com

Digg is a social bookmarking site that you can post articles from your website on. If your article is good and people like it, it can draw some traffic. If your article is very popular, you might end up on the front page and after that you can expect to have more traffic than you want.

Digg is a socialbook marking site
before you submmit a story to digg please read other posts on it related to you niche and then submmit accordingly. Digg bans the account if the story is not submitted as per its rules...

Oh sorry it doesn't quite work like that, see if you get more diggs on your story it will show up on the digg spy tool more which gives your story a better ctr on digg, thats the only thing you can do to get traffic by paying.

The only way you can get on the front page is one really unique story and no 'paid' diggs, even 50 unique natural diggs can get you on the front page if a digg editor thinks its worth it.

If digg was totally automated it won't have that much authority ;)

    edit:

Just to prove my point further, i took a screen shot from digg right now.

See, 94 diggs and its on the front page... :D
