Hey guys, I hope I am posting in the correct forum. I purchased resell rights to a product. It is a PDF report and a series of videos on twitter. I was given all the images and stuff for the mini site. I was assuming I would use pay pal to take the money. My question is how do I securely send the pdf and video downloads to my customers"? Should I use ejunkie or something like that? The video downloads are on a webpage already set up...do I send my customers to the download page? I was hoping for some direction. Also, if anyone is looking for a job I would be happy to pay someone to set this up for me. Bill
Since you are considering E-junkie, I can explain you the steps involved. Instead of uploading all your files at E-junkie, (I am assuming your file size would be more than 500 MB and you have already hosted the links to the page) I would suggest that you use "Issue downloads from external URL" feature. This is as easy as just uploading your file. When E-junkie issues a download link for an externally-hosted file, the link itself appears and works exactly the same as if we were hosting the file, with the same access control, unique ID and link attempts/expiration settings. The only difference (without getting into too much boring behind-the-curtain details :^) is that the link triggers a download stream from your server, through our Web cache, then to the buyer, so the file appears to be coming from our server rather than yours. At no point is the buyer ever exposed to the "real" static URL of the file on any server, nor can they tell the file was even remotely hosted, nor is there any way they could analyze the link or download process to discern the location of other files or access any files they did not purchase. This service is only available for accounts which are subscribed to a $18 per month or a higher plan. You can also sign-up for 7 days fully function account at absolutely no charge. You can try it for yourself, its pretty easy to set-up. If you face any problems you can always contact the E-junkie support or you can simply reply to this thread. Hope this helps.
