Can I delete/lock and old post. (Week old) or do I have to contact a mod? If so how do I do this?

You can't delete them yourself until you've got >1000 posts and are a "Spirit Walker"(or something like that). Just pm one of those helpful mods and they'll do it for you

Nope. You can't do that. You can edit / delete for certain time limit but can't lock your thread. You need to use Report Post button for that with valid reason.
