Hi guys I just have a query and I thought as lots of people hang out in this section of the forum, I may get an answer or even get one of the mods/admin staff to notice. I have (had) a thread (link is[was] in my sig) in the Content Creation forum which was used to offer my freelance writing services. It has been up since May or June and has had thousands of views, hundreds of replies, a few star ratings and most importantly had dozens and dozens of client feedback. I went to check something out on my thread this afternoon and to my horror discover that it's not there! I can only imagine it's been deleted for some reason. I have never been banned, never had an infraction and never had so much as a warning of any description and am at a total loss at what could have happened. I know people could say just make another thread but that is not the point; my feedback, my testimonials and more importantly, my credibility were all in that thread. Is this a normal situation? Do threads just disappear of their own accord? If anyone could shed some light on this for me I would be very grateful. I have also sent a message to admin but as of yet have had no reply. Anthony
Chances are, when the database was crashed a couple of weeks ago, you thread was deleted along with many user accounts. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1093325 There is no way to recover them so you will have to start a new thread. If it was for something you did wrong, the thread normally would be closed and you would be notified.
