    Hello everyone,

Is it illegal to create a page that speaks about a manufacturer so I can give out some infos like that : a little history about it (with true informations), an homemade review, link to the manufacturer website and products.

At the beginning of the page, a little note marked with an * will be placed to indicate that the history of the manufacturer is explained with all the true informations we know. If the manufacturer reads the page and find bad informations, he can contact us so we can make changes.

As I'm in a specific niche, my website will certainly ranks high on the manufacturer's name, is it illegal to create pages like that to attract some extras traffic to my website ?

    Thank you for your time,

I don't think you're breaking any laws so long as the information is true and you don't try and make it look like you're affiliated beyond the displayed info.

Sometimes you need to do just that, and as long as the rules aren't clearly stipulated, then go by it. Just do it effectively without seeming to be overemphasizing, and meeting your needs.

There is nothing wrong with writing true information about a company, but you do have to be careful to put it in your own words (to avoid copyright infringement) and not use any trademarks of the company in a way that creates a likelihood of confusion.
