This is an example of an encrypted link for an affiliate site of mine; ProductXX I have two questions, when I create a text link in CJ is it ok to change whatever text they have in there like "best deal only $4.95 a month" to something else, like just the product name or whatever? Second, if I just wanted to create a link to the product from an image, can I just take the underlined part of the link and insert it into the image so it is clickable and still receive credit for any sales? Thanks!
you may want to check with the specific program's AM, as all programs are diff. usually if they let you use your own image it will have a line for you to enter it on the get link page.
99% of the time, it's fine. You should be safe unless it's stated otherwise, and as long as you are truthful in advertising & don't defame the advertiser (for example, and ad saying "Is Blockbuster a scam???" would be bad, but "Get DVDs at Blockbuster" would be fine, even if that wasn't the text provided to you).
