Question about creating a simple animated video

    Hello all,

I have an idea in my head, but I am not sure how to go about it.

I would like a simple animated video of Santa Clause shooting across, on his sleigh, a basic snowy scene with snowflakes, a couple of trees or maybe just a small little house. Maybe coming from different directions, but the would mainly consist of a still background and a few falling snowflakes.

The program used for this, would it be flash, and if so, how much do you think a simple design like this would cost to get made by some of DP's own designers? I really want it as simple as can be to cut down on costs!

If anyone has an idea, or actually can help, thatd be much appreciated!

My best recommendation is go to the BST forums here and setup a thread requesting to hire someone for the job and to get quotes for the job. This should give you a better idea of the cost.
This job could easily be done in Flash with a few simple tricks, but you still need someone to draw up the graphics and make it look good which can take some time.
Another good idea is to submit your job at RentaCoder.com or eLance and input the maximum price you are willing to spend on the project. People will bid the price they will do it for and you are not obligated to pick someone, so this also would give you a better idea of the cost for the project.
    Best of luck!

You could use Flash and finish this quickly, but it's ahrd to learn if you don't know how to use.
