Question about Crawling/indexing in yahoo

    Hello All Brothers & Sisters,

    I want to know about :

    1 - How many days yahoo take to crawl a new website pages ?


    2- if I create new multiple sub pages then how long it will take to crawl them ?

    Pls give me the correct info.

    From my personal experience Yahoo will index and show your stuff measured in weeks, sometimes as little as 1. MSN seems to do it within days. Google takes months sometimes for SERPs but is really quick at indexing.

    It is strange that everyone seems to have a different answer. I recently started really working on 2 new webpages. I submitted both and had one backlink from a page I had made several years ago. Google picked up both almost immediatly with first page or near first page search results on several fairly competetive keywords. Yahoo actually took several weeks to index them.

    I've also noticed that yahoo doesn't crawl nearly as often and changes to already indexed pages dont show changes in yahoo's cache for a few weeks.

    I noticed that yahoo crawls the least out of the engines. I wonder why that is? annoying.

    Put a link to your site from your signature in this forum. It works wonders. My site got crawled by all three in couple of days.

    Yahoo is slooooooooooow!

    I started a forum over 1 month ago, and Google took a peek within a week, and deep crawled it within 3 weeks.
    In contrast,
    Yahoo's cache of the homepage dates from 3/17, and has never entered the threads.

    Yahoo is very good at backlinks for some reason also. They seem to appear within days or no later than a week for the most part.

    Site has been up since Feb.....Yahoo indexed portal and then stopped. They sent 271 crawlers over and only got one page...WTF

    That one page is still the only one indexed to this day. Ive done the RSS thing with my Blog and all and still nothing....

    Come on Yahoo index me.....
