Heya, guys Long story short, I do craigslist posting. One guy offered me 3$ per live ad. Very nice price, I know. However, he wanted ads posted in beauty and health category in craigslist. And his ads seems to be about a kind of amphetamins - some of it is anti-depressant, some for astma, some for losing weight, etc. I have done my research for some of the products he offer, some seems not legal, some are not illegal, but not quite legal also. The shit it, I have tried to post few ads for him before I have done my research, which was stupid I know, but it was past 1AM at my timezone and well, poor excuse, but... The good news is the ads haven't been posted succesfully, coz I needed VPAs to complete the process. The ads are at waiting mode for phone verification to be posted. So my question is - should I be worry that craigslist might read the not-posted-yet ads? For me it wasn't obvious from the start that this man wants me to post ads about illegal, or not that legal things, let's put it that way. Do you think craigslist workers could spot such thing without doing research like me? And one piece of advice to people who offer craiglist posting - don't do my mistake and always do your research before posting something for someone, if you have no idea what the product it. Hi Annorios, I have been using Craigslist for quiet sometime & from reading your thread , I understand your concern. To explain you a bit in detail ,how craigslist works is that , when someone posts to their site (assuming he got his PVAs verified) , the ads gets listed automatically & CL people will not know the ad personally or they dont see it manually , unless or until someone FLAGS / REPORTS it. When more people from different IPs , report those ads gets flagged automatically. So if your PVAs are not verified & as it is not yet posted live , don't worry about getting it read by CL people. Assuming even if CL guys , see it manually & some govt. agencies see those ads , they would catch hold of the actual person who owns & runs that person from his contact details on his postings & they will not trouble the poster (like you ) who posted the ad. Even if they interrogate you , you can very well explain the situation & convince them that you are no part of the business & you are just a person hired to post in CL , thats it. Anyway this is just my suggestion to relieve from your mental agony , anyway just check with your legal consultant to get it cleared. Don't worry , you would just do it . But here after be careful with what you do Hope this helps.
