Here's a quicky: If I search like this: link:www.smallestgames.com I get 355 links to this site. If I search with a space between the : and www, like this: link: www.smallestgames.com I get 9 as the link count. Can anyone clarify this for me? It's probably a silly question, but I thought the search engine ignored blank spaces. Thanks!
This is a simple answer. The link: command is a special function for google. If you break this command by inserting a space google will revert back to performing a standard search.
