Hey, i have just created a site, and i wans wondering about the copyright part, when you see any webpage you will see a copyright note at the end, like the one you can find at this forum, Copyright ©2000 - 2006 etc. etc., my question is this, to do this notes all you have to do is put Copyright 2003 or whatever? is there a requeriments to put this copyrights notes? what does the year means? for example on a Copyright © 2003, what it means?
    Thanks.

This means all the content in 2003 is copyrighted and no one can steal them or publish them without consent of the original onwer.

There is actually no legal reason to put that note there. Your works will be copyrighted the moment you create them. The note is simply there to tell other people who owns that copyright.

You can, but it doesn't have any legal meaning. In the US copyright term is life of the author/creator plus 70 years, so maybe it would make a difference a hundred or two hundred years from now, depending on how long you live. :)
