My idea behind doing the t-shirt(s)/products was to increase traffic. Giving away a few things can't hurt right? I mean the most i've gotten in one day is 32 hits and that was only 27 unique hits. Also 9 of those came from here.... I'm not sure what to do to have actual SOAP fans come to my site and post and visit, etc.
Not if you're giving away things that violate other people's trademarks. Giving them away won't exempt you from liability. Now, if you could come up with t-shirts that parody the shows without using their trademarks, then you might have something you can sell.... Or buy licensed merchandise and give that away. If you are looking to generate traffic have you joined any forums that deal with that show or other soap operas? If not, I would suggest that. After you have spend some time on those forum, and understand the rules and how people feel about commercial sites, you could probably add a signature. That usually will help drive traffic and will be a nice relevant link. Okay, new question. What if I made spiffy joke like tshirts using couple names? Like Spinelli and Maxie together is "Spixie". What if I made a tshirt using ideas like this?
