    Hey everyone,

Noob here so excuse my noobiness!

I had over 25k unique yesterday and over 100,000 impressions as per CJ. However, it doesn't seem like anyone bought anything!!!

I had Apple Store ads, Go Daddy, Travelocity and Norton. I felt that these would be appropriate for a site that writes on technology, viruses, software, and etc.

I also have some Adsense but wanted to give CJ a try.

I'm now averaging around 5-10k hits per day and would really like to start making some cash??

Some help/suggestions from the pro's here would be much appreciated.. . Thanks...

Look at your log files. What keywords did people use to find your site? What pages did they enter on? How long did they stay (This tells you if they found what they wanted), and what pages did they leave from (Different or same from entry).

Understanding your customers/visitors behavior is key to making money. No need to guess.

Once you have done that look at what opportunities you can offer them.

Just posting links or ads doesn't work.

If you write about Anti Virus and you can truly write a good article then find a product that matches your article and recommend it. Offer the free trial link.

Figuring out what your customer wants then putting it in front of them is they way to make money. But in your niche I would expect a lot of people looking for "Free" solutions. So work on the "Free Trials".

FYI: Amazon is a tough sell because they have to buy right now or you don't get your commission. Amazon makes a lot of money from affiliates by getting the FREE leads, that convert later.

I agree. A lot of people entered through Reddit, Digg and Stumbleupon but there was some organic search as well. I'm just a little surprised that with over 100,000 impressions not a dollar was earned from CJ - is it just a garbage program compared to AdSense?

    I'm new, so I don't know.

Yeah, I removed the Amazon ad because it hasn't been doing well or anything at all for that matter.

I have 2 AdSense banners on the main page and one AdSense banner on the post pages...

I'm trying to figure out what's a great ad to put on the homepage that could potentially generate some revenue.

Your thoughts on AdSense vs. CJ?

I'll be doing an in-depth review on the new iWork '09 Suite (iPhoto, iWeb, etc.)

Any tips aside from putting a CJ ad for the Apple Store?

I'll try my best SEO to get some traffic to the reviews - I think I do a good job so far of driving traffic I'd just like to see some conversion...

    Also, any good Survey ads?

I've read in the forums that surveys are good method for generating some revenue, I'm part of CJ and AdSense... Chitika, AdBrite and Widgetbucks seems garbage to me...

    Thanks...
