Can anyone register .co.uk or do you have to live in the UK?
I tried to search for the answer on google but it wasn't having it.

    Thanks for your replies.

Any one can buy it, and one can host it. You just point the domain at the hosting providers name servers.

Ok thanks everyone for your help, I wasn't really sure because in Canada you have to be a Canadian to buy a .ca so I was wondering if the same rules apply

Yes it is! not awkward just very 'thorough'!

.co.uk and .org.uk registration is open to anyone, however once registered if you wish to sell you have to make a transfer using Nominet (nominet.org.uk Which COSTS!! There is no way of avoiding these costs if you wish to buy or sell a .uk domain name, there is no such thing as a simple 'push' with a .uk
