question about CJ cookies

Hey everyone I was just thinking about this... When a user clicks on one of your links and stores a cookie on customers computer, what happens if they click on the same link from another site after clicking on your link. Does CJ just give credit to most recent click or what. This especially confuses me for cookies that give credit for 30-60 days after they click. Thanks

The last site they come from and buy product gets the money. If they bookmark page and come back not from another site you get sale.
