I'm wondering how people are able to tell how much they are getting for each click. For example, people were saying that they were getting $50/click for mesothelioma, now they are only getting around $1/click. I can't seem to figure out a way to tell what is actually being clicked. I only see so many clicks and a dollar amount. I can setup channels, but that still doesn't tll me exactly what keyword the ad that got clicked came from. The only thing that I can think of is that people are clicking the ads themselves and then looking to see how much they made. Is this the only way to find this information out? Thanks ahead of time
it says in your AdSense stats .... Say 2 clicks and only $0.44 = around $0.22 each. That's the best you're gonna get. And keep them in channels to track them, it's easier that way. or use the new URL tracker that AdSense just added. if there is multiple keyphrases on a page and a skyscraper ad shows 4 different ads for 4 different keywords, then you really wont know. AFAIK.
So when people say they are getting so much a click, the only way they are 100% sure is if they clicked themselves, correct? Thanks
nope. you can't click it yourself, google doesn't pay you for that. they aren't 100% sure. They are just guessing like everyone else. besides, it's against AdSense TOS to share your specific statistics.
Thanks, that's all I needed to know. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing out on some key statistics. It would of been very nice to know exactly what ads visitors are clicking.
the same page as manage your channels. its broken down into two sections: "Manage URL Channels" and "Manage Custom Channels". The former is what you want.
