Question About Changing A Twitter Username?

    Hey, I have a question about changing the username of my Twitter account. My current Username is "SeanFace101", but I was thinking that it might be best if I change it to something more along the lines of just my name, "Sean Quinn", "Sean M Quinn" or something similar. My question is.. If people click on a link to or even type in my old username into their browser, will it forward them to my new username as it is still the same account? or Will it just come back as a dead link and/or even just re-direct to the Twitter home page?

    Hi, in my case, there was no redirection and the old username mentioned in tweets no longer acted as a link.

    No, it will not redirect, but instead will show that no such user exists.
