Hello, I see a lot of people selling multiple blog post packages over in the Link Sales forum. My questions is how effective are these links, once they end up a few pages deep? Lets say I bought a PR5 blog post and my post/links were only on the homepage for a week. Will my site get any Google recognition weeks down the road? Are blog posts only useful while on the homepage or pages with PR's? My ultimate goal is to build contextual links that remain helpful to my SERP's. I'm open to any other suggestions as well. Thank you.
Hi there. Like for the blog post, normally search engine will indexed them. no need to be a high pr. The only thing is either the blog is well do s.e.o or not. If you want to order the blog post then please let me know - check this thread : http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=5176083
See if the blog posy is indexed in google or not....if it is than its better than directory. And for your satisfaction you can consider Page rank too of the post.
You can check some of the older pages on the blog and see if they have any PR. That would tell you what will probably happen.
Blog posts are effective for search engine indexed. If you take care of making each post very focused on a specific topic and carefully choose the keywords that best describe your post (using them in the post title and post body), they will stand a very good chance of ranking well with the search engines. Also, since blogs tend to be updated regularly, search engines will crawl them often (search engines love fresh content), adding your new posts to their index.
