Question about bloggers that earn thousands of $

    There is a famous marketing blog where the author tell that he started a blog and in 13 days and just 9 blogposts he earned $600 with Adsense.
    Since there are many scam marketers around, I want to know if this is possible or he is just a scammer.

    It all depends on what other sites and channels he had to drive people to the blog, the type of content etc.

    I'm reasonably convinced that if Barack Obama started a blog and put adsense on it he'd probably find he'd earned $600 that quickly too.

    IMO Most people would be ecstatic to have 600 visitors in 13 days for a brand new blog.

    That blog must really be worth the read for it to earn that quickly and that blog might have a lot of backlinks that divert tons of traffic to it.The content and virility of his writings will justify what he said.

    it is possible but highly improbable, Sometimes you hit on something and all the stars align and bam you have a winner. But, most of the time it will take hard work and patience, it will probably take months before you begin to see a decent return on your investment.

    As others have said, it's certainly possible. Most likely, if it's true, he got a bunch of traffic from some high traffic website. Perhaps from a guest blog post.

    Either way, monetizing your blog via Adsense is perhaps the hardest and least profitable way to make money from a blog. A much better bet would be to figure our your reader's pain points, then create and/or promote products that solve those pain points.

    Quality wins out over quantity every time. Did you look at these blogposts? Are they quality? Did you look at the entire site? You can generally tell a quality site from a garbage one but at the end of the day $600 in 13 days is very difficult to do.

    Just think that overnight miracles are not possible especially when such big earnings are involved. Oh yea, when we are talking about big blogs with HUGE traffic which already do millions, or more that's not a secret anymore. But ghosts and new sites will never do $600 in 2 weeks, especially when Adsense is not accepting publishers so easy because they have so many!

    It is 100% possible. Did he showed you the traffic sources and the methods he used to drive the traffic. Marketing is how you pitch the readers. I know people who are making more than 1 million dollar in sales everyday but what usually marketers hide is that how much they have invested to make this 1 million dollar. On a private chat I have asked him and he told me that he spends around $750,000 to $800,000 to make 1 million dollar a day.

    So this is practical in terms of practicality but in terms of effort and investment the guy have made only he can tell you.
