question about "betfair.com"

    I just registered in "betfair.com" for betting,

    I have a german verified paypal, and I saw in betfair deposit section that members from germany can deposit money into their account by paypal,
    but when I tried to deposite money by paypal, paypal gave me this alert:

    "Payments to this merchant are not available from the country where your bank or credit card on your PayPal account is registered"

    Do you have any idea that how I can solve this problem?

    As far as I know, Paypal doesn't allow any sort of Gambling websites to use them as a merchant. I think you might have to use a Credit Card.

    Same as moneybookers. You can not deposit using credit card. Try paypal balance instead. It's from my moneybookers experience :)

    you might want to check on the ratings of betfair, I have heard lots of stories about people having problems getting money from them

    I have no issues uploading funds into betfair with PayPal.

    Perhaps contact their support?
