I've just started a site with an article directory. I plan to write some original content, but will offer relevant articles to compliment mine. If I find a very good article from other article directory sites, Is it OK to grab that article, and submit it to my own article direcotry as long as I give the writer credit and link back to his site? Is it OK to grab that article, and post it as content on my website if the same credit and link is given? thanks,
i run several article directory as well, yes its alright as long as you maintain 2 credits one is the by-line containing the author of the article, web address and copyright notice and the resource box where the expertise or the free ad or the who is this author? is placed.
yap he is right. i also find articles that will provide the visitors great information and maintaining where it came from, the authors name and link
actually getting article to be republished on another site is highly encouraged by most article distribution site, read one of their tos: http://www.articledepot.co.uk/terms-of-service.php
Publishing someone elses article is great. I recomend it. Most will be thrilled.. BUT make for sure you notify and document the permision to re-print, always site the source. dont get stuck in any copyright issues.
Wait, i got a question too.. Writing my own a lot bunch of articles can drive me insane, and i also want to use it, but looking at some post here, stated that we can get ban by Google for duplicate content, am i rite?? One more, if i remove the "Source: www.examplearticlesite.com" line will it call copyright infringement?? Since i saw some site, not to mention here, dont include that line but include the "about the author" line ..
