Hello, Articles probably help to target keywords, but i am asking a significant question here. When i finish to submit the article about my website (article directories, SB and so on) google read and target and it's cool, there is any need to put the same article on my website? Is it good? bad? Should i change the article? Should i put it as the same title on some page inside my website? Any other suggestions are welcome, thanks !
The best idea is to write a full article for your site, and publish it on your site first. After a month goes by, write a condensed version of the article and submit it to as many article directories as you can. Make sure th condensed article is still clearly written and hints at the additional information that can be found by reading the full article on your site.
No, I don't think you should put the same article that you submit to directories on your own website. This causes duplicate content in the search engines - one of the pages will most likely be put in the supplemental index in Google. This will either devalue the link to the page in the article directory, or render your own version worthless from an SEO standpoint. Publishing in one place should be fine. Then link to the actual article if you want your readers to see it.
Well, i made a rewrite article and put it on the website as article.php. In 2 weeks i will submit the bigger and original article, which have different words o nit. Is it a good way to do?
That could work. My philosophy is never to do something just for the search engines. If having two version of the same article enhancing the user experience, then by all means go for it. However, just make sure you limit duplicate content. How about writing a short synopsis on your own site and then linking to the actual article page?
If you publish the articles first on your site means nothing, you can have it on your site for 5 years and if it gets published on a higher authority site they will outrank you. So just make the version on your site as different to the distributed version as possible.
When it comes to articles we have found UNIQUE articles work perfectly. The way we do this is by coming up with the concept first - Like how to drive a car. Then we do a variation of it every time we publish an article like: How to drive without getting killed How to drive at night How to drive duing the day How to drive an ugly car How to drive an expensive car Well, you get it.... the more variations the better and every one of them has your site as a credit.
Your site would not be consider as duplicate content if you post the article in your site first and get indexed. After indexing your article in your site the other site that will use your article will be having the duplicate issue. But I think article directory has an exception with duplicate content because they have the write to publish your article to any websites that will subscribe to your article.
sweetfunny, well maybe you know what's better: Put an article on the website then to spread it. Or type Article X and spread Article Y which is also looks almost the same?
Put the full and complete article on your site, and do a condensed article to distribute. The more different you make the two the better.
I think that it may be done but the chances are you will get many visitors after submition (if the site does not have enough weight). IMHO the idea of the articles (if you submit them to directories) is in building link popularity rather that in drawing visitors.
Sure kirilp, I only do it for 2 keywords i would like to promote, since the 3rd is all ready in 2 position.
Seems to me that this continues to be a hot and disputed issue. Ideally, the websites like the articles to be different but I've seen myself post the same blog entry on two different blogs and the higher PR blog get indexed and the other one not be found in the search engines at all. I'm sure like anything else in seo it depends on multiple factors that are not disclosed. In my humble opinion, the best thing to do is to try to minimize duplicity as much as possible.
Well yeah DanapC, Sure SEO is needed, not here only - every where. Also indeed i will try to avoid duplicate just as for the feeling, no one here seems to be sure - that's why it can be a nice test There is a lot of job to do besides the article, but indeed it's the most factor since it's the text itself.
