    Hi everyone,

I was just wondering: Does it improve your link popularity to be listed or archived on Archive.org?

    Thanks,
    Steve

Huh, its not your choice to be listed or not... THey automatically list sites, if they haven't included you its because:

    1)Site too young.
    2)Site too unimportant.

I'm sure you can block them with robots.txt if you really wanted to. Really it doesn't make any difference although if you sell your site its a good way to prove the age.

I don't think the importance thing has anything to do with it. There are plenty of Geocities single-page sites from 1999 devoted to nobody celebrities in there...
