Question about affiliate programs

I see so many people making money off affiliate programs and just had a few questions.

    1) Do you add them to your already popular site/blog or did you somehow build a site around your affiliate ads, similar to those built for adsense sites.

    2) Are there any resources for building sites that will be successful with affiliate programs, ie info or demo templates or scripts.

    thanks

Truth is - you can do both - extend your current site if its related or build a new review site.

You shall sign up to MoreNiche (see my sig) for best support, templates, pre-writen articles, guides, one-to-one support etc.

I like use articles and PPC to build lists, that way you can market to each customer over and over and build up a relationship with them.
