Hello everybody, don't know if you‘ve heard of the tool AdLog24 (www.adlog24.com). Seems to be new. It's a tool that helps with online advertising. In the headline it says: "Which of your online advertising channels brings you what number of visitors?" To me, this means it's a tracking tool that counts the number of visitors my various online advertising channels get (i.e. banner, text ads etc.). But this doesn't seem to be correct...? Apparently they mean the clicks on the HOMEPAGE, and not the advertising channels. For measuring the visitors on my page, I could just use other tools, but I was told AdLog24 had something more to offer. Am I just dumb here...? Any idea how the programme really works and if it could be helpful for online advertising? Thanks in advance, Judith
Hi, AdLog24 is a link tracker or click tracker. Via an URL with tracking code generated by the programme itself (such as http//s001.adlog24.com?fwd=) it counts the clicks on a banner or an advertising link that direct the visitors to your homepage. This means that yes, it counts the clicks to your homepage, but not the direct clicks but the ones generated by your online advertising channels (of course this means that it counts the clicks on the several channels as well^^). You can see now which advertising method is successful and which one is not, and adapt your methods. It’s a handy tracking tool, IMHO. Have Fun
