Question about Adsense Jerks

I've run into this "Adsense Jerks" and wonder if anyone here has had any dealings with them and if they're worth the time and $?

Now I'm sure the "Jerks" are here on this forum so please don't take the fact that I'm asking around as anything bad. I'm simply trying to find some subjective opinions.

I'm also sure that they have a lot of information that can help me. It's just that I've seen sooooo many different "authorities" on many different topics and most of them charge for every single thing.

I'm not adverse to paying for things but I also don't want to get burned. So I ask.

Sorry if this isn't the proper place for this question.

    Thanx,
    Marco

I think it's been established over and over that none of these "experts" have any secret skills that you can't get yourself by reading this forum or other forums for a while. Their "knowledge" comes from the fact that they've read this forum and others longer than you have. There is nothing secret about what they know; they've just been at this longer than you have.

So, are they worth the money? Don't know. If you simply don't have the time to read the forums for anywhere from a week to a month to get the info yourself, they could be. I guess in the end it's all about you -- do you have the time and patience to learn it all yourself, or do you want to pay someone to hand you the info in a nice bundle?

Likewise with all the Adsense ebooks out there.

I don't think it's worth paying for these eBook for whatever. I learnt everything I know by researching on the net. There's plenty of free resources out there, one of which is of course DP.

I'm writing a blog about AdSense optimization so that may be of use to you. It's only at the beginning stages right now but it may be worth a read...

I'll update it a lot more once I get more free time (in about 2 weeks).

Tell me what you think. :)

I agree, all they are doing is sugar coating the product for you. Some good Marketing at work there. Anyone can research the internet for the same information you find in these e-books etc... But they package the product well...

The AdSense jerks have mastered the art of using lots of fonts to make sales pages that look enthusiastic. Their only secret, like that of the similar gurus, is that people will pay good money for information they can find on their own very easily FOR FREE. Don't get sucked in by their pitches.

If you look at their sites they're almost identical. I swear they all use the same template.

Its based on marketing research thats why the sites are normally the same .. the sites are geared to making sales ... I think I will be off to do some marketing research of my own.

Yep, those templates have been around for ages. They may be the result of years of marketing research but I hate them, if anything it put's me off buying a product, it look homemade and unprofessional. I've lost count of the times I've been interested in a product, clicked though only to see a page like then and left straight away.

Just what I thought. I've gotten alot of great help here in the past from everyone.

Also very true about their websites. A real common template.

Thanx everyone for your input :)

ash1: One of the people selling eBooks about obvious stuff with those cheesy marketing pages actually calls himself "the AdSense Jerk." That's where the title comes from. We can all agree there are bigger jerks out there...

I bought adsense gold purely for the click tracking software. IMHO that was worth it (I could have spent days and weeks writing a similar tool).

Unless i wanted a specific script or something they offered I would not ordinarily pay for this.

    Theres my 2 euro cents.

time and again i've always said, it's all time vs money. no time? get a decent ebook. no money? spend months scavenging for info. no time AND money? put in an application to Burger King. :D

Those are not templates, Designers create them
The thing is, since they are sales letters using a 750px frame ....so they look the same
Creating such a site takes like 2 hours or so :)
