Okay. I've picked up many great tips in this forum in the week since I found it. Now I've got another question: When placing adSense banners in content areas of a site, what is the most effective adSense banner size? In my particular case, I don't have room for the 728 x 90 Leaderboard, so my options are between the 468 x 60 banner and the Medium (300 x 250) or Large (336 x 280) Rectangle. Does anyone have an opinion on which performs better in content without detracting from the overall aesthetics of the page? Cheers
Perhaps you're talking about the 'Hot Spot Vacation Guide' site? Maybe a Leaderboard will fit up top if coded like this... <body id="body" bgColor="#336699"> <div style="margin:auto"> 728 banner code here </div> rest of code.... ------------------------ Anyways, Not that it's the best choice for you...just try different ad sizes and placements and test with channels.
Chas, Thanks for responding. It's not the HotSpot site. It's a regional site with no ads at the moment. I have a maximum width of 500 px to work within, but the height is more flexible. I want to embed the adSense into the text on the home page.
