I am experiencing terrible conversions rates with them. For instance, I have a measly $4 per day limit at $.20 CPC Max yielding 39 click throughs yesterday. I got zero conversions using their code snippet to keep track of conversions. I checked to make sure the snippet was in place; it was. Also, since my software download is free, once they "supposedly" landed there, www.gopoint.biz there's no reason not to click through to the download. I mean the selling proposition seem fine, doesn't it? And, there's no evidence on the final landing page of any downloads, either. Did humans actually click through originally? This is frustrating. I am getting more hits by just posting on download sites with adCenter. What am I missing?
I am not suprised , its a very common issue with adverstisers on MSN .....Adcentre conversions are in question...the conversion varies and depends widely on the audience. It does not have the kind of reach that Google has...did you have success with any other PPC engine for the same campaign ...can you share that learning. That is precisely why Microsoft is desparate to buy Yahoo.....they dont have expertise on PPC search
I'll be honest... It's not Adcenter traffic, it's your site. It's ugly and people have no clue what you are trying to sell them. Stop waisting your 4$ a day and hire a designer and someone to write some decent copy.
I tend to agree with VoxMtl. Your site is very difficult to figure out what you are trying to get me to do. It took me 2 minutes to figure it out. It should have taken about 7 seconds.
I would say first check if you have installed the conversion script correctly by using firebug. Also check if you have enabled conversion tracking and then "Saved" it. I think each campaign in adcenter requires enabling conversions
