Hello, I was wondering if the zones are per domain or per website, webpage? If I set up a zone for my website www.chooseabstinence.org and put ads all over my site(using the same HTML code that was provided), will it still register clicks? Another thing, how do I make my ads more interesting? I am not getting any clicks yet Thirdly, how do I place an interstitial type of ad? Fourtly, what can I do to make more money with adbright and other good recommended ads? Could I use YesAdvertising with a CPM banner and get paid regardless of clicks or not, seeing few people click, those impressions my site is getting will get me the money and ill have other types of ads for clicking.
you can put them anywhere you want. interstitial ads will show with the same code if it is checked in ad options.they are enabled and you just made 3/4 of a cent from me
Yes but do I need to set up zones for that or is one zone good per domain? I checked interstitial ads but I have yet to see one on my site. Is it showing for others, why not me?
you can have one zone and two ads showing or you can setup a zone for each ad spot. it is all upto you. i've see one site that had 20 banners with one zone.not recommended it could be checking the ip address(not sure if they do that) or the bowser your using. if you not from the US,you might never see them.
Whats the difference in how many zones I set up? Can I choose to have only one zone per domain as long as I use the same ad size and specs? Will I get more clicks and more money if I have more zones or does it not matter? Im guessing they dont show interstitial on your own IP address. I do wonder what they look like and do they interfer with my website? As for YesAdvertising, please tell me more about it. I dont want popunders, can I get a CPC and/or CPM banner from them?
like i said it is up to you.there is no rules about it.you may make more with differant ad types though.there may be differant ads and a better chance of some them being cpm ads. as for what interstitial ads look like, see the demo http://www.adbrite.com/mb/intermission_splash.php dont waste your time with YesAdvertising.one of the worst companys. with all the rules that they have you need another company to use on sites/pages that you cant have adsense/yahoo. there is also no min. payment and you can use them as an addition.
OK I wont use yesadvertising, but please recommend me some other companies I can use in addition to adbright. Adsense disallows competetors other than adbright. Plus its very easy to get banned from adsense, anyone can get you banned with little effort. I may eventrually use adsense but not till I am well established with many other companies.
I have 5 adbrite ad places on my website, each ad place has it's own zone. Good for tracking and better conversion ratios eventually. Other companies I can recommend are adengage.com and targetpoint.com, both are doing well at the moment. I recommend those if you run a website with adult content. Otherwise, certainly go for adsense or YPN. To make ads more interesting when you make no clicks, is using an alternative contextual advertiser like oxado.com or do your utmost to blend in your ads (colors, size etc).
Advantages Integrated text ads are more likely to receive clicks from online visitors than text ads that are plainly exposed. This results in a higher CTR, or Click Through Ratio for integrated ads. The more clicks an ad receives, the more a prospective advertiser is willing to pay for ads on your site. Ad Integration Tools With the ad integration tools provided by AdEngage, publishers can easily blend ads into the rest of the website's content. Customizable features include a wide range of sizes and colors for each Ad Box, a variety of font styles and colors, and a range of spacing preferences. For a full list of features, try visiting the Publisher homepage. Ad Placement Ad placement is an integral part of a successful website. Placing ads within the online visitor's visual focus is vital for receiving clicks. Refer to AdEngage's Ad Placement Guide when deciding where to place your ads. Google adsense would warn or ban you for this(blending ads) Also google doesnt like it when you use competitors ads. adengage totally doesnt mind So I wont be using adsense anytime soon unless they amend their rules. I have one adbright zone in my domain, I feel its too much trouble to set multiple domains, I stick with one zone per domain. I declared my zone as www.chooseabstinence.org will I still get paid for clicks anywhere in my domain?
