Question about ad relevancy

I just added adsense ads to my website, but the ads that are showing don't appear extremely relevant. The problem is, the www name of my website is not directly related to the content of my website, and they seem to be displaying ads based on the www site name. Is this just temporary because they haven't crawled my page for content, or is this going to be a problem? I appreciate any help you can give me! Thank you!

Yes it's just temporary. Until Adsense can fully crawl your site and crawl your content often (as you add new content), it'll put you in an initial category based on whatever it found you first (domain name being one of them) and deliver ads based on that. When Adsense starts spidering your site often, it'll start delivering more relevant ads. Happens to everyone in the beginning.

ok, thank you for the info! Do you have any idea how long it will be before I start seeing the more relevant ads?

EDIT: Nevermind, they just crawled the site.

Yeah, you can check your stats. The more you see the Adsense spider come around, the more relevant your ads will become. Don't get discouraged; I've known people with blogs who got nothing but "blog" ads for weeks, and then one day, nothing but relevancy.
