    I want a social network site like myspace, facebook sort of deal...

    Is there anyone that can set me up one?

    on the cheaper side , there are services like http://www.ning.com that offer white-label social networks

    then there are self-hosted solutions like http://www.phpfox.com/

    phpfox has gotten a lot better imho with the release of version 1.6 - i used to have a site w about 1000 members on version 1.1, which was total crap. be prepared to spend a lot of money though- phpfox has a community forum where freelance programmers and phpfox webmasters sell small add-ons. i think i spent around $2000 on customizing the script and getting various add-ons. if you need some tips on phpfox let me know.

    whatever you do stay away from Alstrasoft Efriends it's full of bugs and the support is horrible..

    I have heard great reviews with PHPfox version that is past the beta stage and does not have bugs or beta issues
