Ok I am thinking about selling this LLL.mobi domain name I own, Their has been some interest in this domain 2 people had added me to msn asking questions and offering money for it, both have offered around $200-$300, I think they were trying to get it cheap but. Thing is I did a little research into this domain and their is a big company that deals with mobile based technologies, PDA'S and items relating to frquancies, this company has the same abreviation for this LLL.mobi the same company owns the .com and .net for this in LLL form which i own the dot mobi in. How much do you think this domain is worth to the company? Should I email them and say are they interested? or should I wait for them to email me? I dont want to loose this domain name, or have them to place a injunction to take it or something.
From the hip... $200-$300 is wholesale to a reseller. For an end user, I'd double or triple it. It's simple supply and demand. Re: TM, just make sure that you are not using your name to confuse the public into thinking your lll.mobi represents the company or their product and you'll be fine. If it is PDS as you stated, there are a few trademarks at the uspto, but I did not see the tech related one. Go to uspto.gov and search for yourself. Good luck. Be sure to report your sale so we can keep track of the UPSWING in .mobi prices.
LLL.mobi the market is good for them right now. Mid $xxx are for sure. But if it is pronounciable. Or has some nice meaning to it. Then this can go higher. Who knows may be much higher as one friend of mine recently grabbed a .mobi for $x,xx,xxx Yes 6 figures.
I did a search and the name is not tradmarked - "No TESS records were found to match the criteria of your query",
BOOYAH means yipee...joy...great...splendid...etc. I was celebrating you not having a TM issue. I guess it was before your time...Good luck.
