[Question] A bit confused about the rules surrounding sales threads

Hey All,

I'd like to offer up a high PR blog post service and I was going to post it in the "services" sub section on the BST forum with a link to my wufoo form in the thread.

I've looked through the faq and I can't seem to find much if any rules regarding what is and isn't allowed with regard to sales threads. I see people talking about some sort of 30 day bump rule but I never saw this spoken of in the FAQ. But I'm guessing I must be missing something if people are talking about it. Where can I find the rules surrounding sales threads?

I just want to make sure I do this right.

But as I said I did go through the FAQ and I could barely find anything that applied to the BST section specifically. I also checked the FAQ in the sales sub-section of the BST forum and the only stickies are in regards to blog commenting services,Yahoo Answers services, and "Thread Owners With Mixed Services". It seems like there's nowhere where I can find the rules on sales threads. Unless I just have to learn by making mistakes...Thanks for trying though Delux.

Well what are the rules regarding bumps in the services sub section of the BST forum?

Does posting in my thread bump it?

Are bumps purchased? Can they only be purchased once every 30 days?

I'm just confused as to how all this works in the BST forum, and was hoping I could find an area where it was all spelled out.

 

^^^ General members can bump their threads once in 30 days. While premium members can bump every 7 days. And there is a button/option to bump it.

 

I agree with the Original Poster. I have read through the rules many times and this morning I received an infraction and my last thread in the BST section was removed because it was "inappropriate". The thread was basically stating that i had Monthly SEO and Social Media packages and I gave a link to my site for people to get more information. How was this inappropriate?

Now how much does each bump cost?

 

Instead of whining in this section you might look at the thread pinned above it with the title "Allowed or Not?"

Then you'd know the second of the two offerings isnt allowed (without a mod having to hold your hand and point to it).
