Quesrion about niche!

    This is maibe a dumb question and i'm not sure its the correct place to ask this question... I keep hearing people talk about niche, but have no idea what this is. Could someone explain or give me an idea about this?

    Am I the only one who gets really annoyed when listening to podcasts when people pronounce it 'nitch'?

    The word is pronounced 'neesh'.
