quesion about authorization

    plz i need a direct link to a file that has password in server
    i mean
    http://www.name.com:2082/file.zip
    it requires username and password
    i need to put usename and password in the link to be downloaded
    how?

    put it into a dir and protect that dir with HTTP AUTH OR HTACCESS

    And looks to me as that is your cpanel directory so i highly don't recommend you post your username and password like that.!
