Query Stats Totally off?

    I have never had a problem with Google Sitemaps, indexing, or anything.

    But now I'm focusing on keywords, and the query stats seem totally off from what I'm seeing.

    For instance, keyword1, under "Top Search Queries" it says my "average top position" is 8; under "top search query clicks," it says my "average top position" is 3. Mcdar.net says my average placement is 16, no matter which block I choose. When I actually test it (on two different computers that use two different G dataservers as the homepage) I come in at 12-13.

    Does anyone know how this works, or have a link that explains it better for me? I have exhausted myself looking through the G help topics.
