I have doubt about using
tag in different sections of my website which have the same or almost same primary keywords. Explanation: I have a website with directory structure having same groups listed inside. For an example /buy/home-appliances.html /sell/home-appliances.html Both these pages have same heading text which is coming dynamically e.g. "Home Appliances & Household Items" I can't change this anyhow on both pages and it should be same ( restricted ). Now i have to implement
tag on these pages for which i have only option text "Home Appliances & Household Items". So what will happen if i am mentioning same
tag on two different pages of my website as discussed above. Will Google give preference to both pages on same keywords or it will penalize these pages for targeting same keywords or text under
tag? This is really tough situation for me having such restrictions and work accordingly. Please give some fruitful suggestions.
H1 tags should not be same for both the similar pages. Since you can have the text changed in H1, then this will makes Google treat your pages as different due to different text available on both the pages.
You are right. Actually i am also thinking likewise.I have limitation for any such changes on that text which is coming dynamically. I am thinking that according to priority and importance, can i implement
tag on one page only so that the individual page where i will implement
will get importance in search engine and will start ranking well on these keywords. What do you think? Doing so will be rewarded by good ranking in Google or Google will treat these as black hat technique?
