Query regarding adsense reporting currency in India

    Adsense says that my reporting currency is USD and if i want to change my currency then i should close this account and open a new one. As i am from India so i was wondering that what happens if google pays me in USD and not in INR, does our local banks will accept those checks?? And what time does it takes to process, as i have only savings account and not any NRI accounts??

    You cannot change adsense reporting currency(INR is also not available as adsense reporting currency). Though you will get option to select adsense paycheck currency (in INR and USD).
    it's always better to choose INR as payment currency.

    Hi, First, Why are you don't want Receiving revenue as USD?
    and also I think your local bank will accept USD check.
    If not, just visit Citibank India. I think they can accept USD check.

    That's not hard problem exchange check in USD to local currency. :)

    Google will issue your check in INR and it is good. If the cheque will be in the $, the bank will charge the clearance fee.
