    Hi guys,

    I have some PHPBB forums and I get really good traffic, just the ads I am getting aren't really relevant for the site.

    I would like some assistance in how I can get better ads (rather than these generic ones that have low payouts) and increase overall earnings

    URL is: http://www.brokenglassonline.com/fourm/

    From yesterday;

    93,761 impressions - $3.88

    Any help would be most appreciated.

    I would recommend not requiring password to access your forums b/c this will allow searchers searching for your content to access your forums and seeing your ads that are relevant to the content they are currently viewing.

    When I go to your forums, i'm instantly served a login page... Guess what the ad is? For "Password Recovery". Get my drift?

    If you could signup that would be appreciated, I'll make those changes shortly.

    Any other ideas? Perhaps limiting the area that google crawls for content on my site using (<!-- tags !-->) remember reading in adsense, can specify it to just look at forum topics etc.

    "I am getting aren't really relevant for the site"

    To get relevant ads, you can do section targeting.

    Usually forums have low CTR, but doing section targeting will surely help to increase CTR.

    Yeah! it will definitely occur because there is no genuine form of content from which Google integrates ads according to niche! You must work out on content then you can better relevant ads

    Have tried some of the section targeting. Can I get some feedback as to what you guys think.

    Have a look at the source, ads don't seem to be changing too much.
