    Sorry am new at this. But are there any url rewrite mods available for phpbb or smf forums?
    And which among these two do you think is better. Of course i know the best is vbulettin. Need help :)

    yes there are url rewrite mods available for both smf and phpbb
    I think phpbb is better as the mod rewrite actually works on it the best one i know of is from able2know (google it) there is a mod for smf but its in beta and you need to be a pro to actually use it so i wouldnt suggest you to use it yet.

    Yes able2know is a good one but you might would like to try phpbbseo (google it) mod. There are plenty of options from starter to advanced versions.
