Here i have heard many people saying that when u give a press release, it appears on google news... but whenever i go to google news , i never see a press release by prweb or some other press releasing company... can somebody provide me the exact url where anybody can see press release??
if you use free service by prweb, your news will only show on their website. you will have to invest i believe $80, to show up on google news and yahoo news.
i have never seen any press release from prweb on front page of http://news.google.com I only find them when i search "PRWEB" or "PRESS RELEASE" do you people have ever find press release on the front page ( by prweb or some other company like that)
Hi, we've talked about this a bit over on this thread. My experience has been that $30.00 will get you in to google news if the press release is very well written. However, don't even think about the front page. Google reserves that for so-called hard news from news sources, not press releases. The benefits are still very real and longterm if you get into the news database.
I've seen some PRWeb releases on the front page of Yahoo news, but never at google news. Google news sends out alerts though based on keywords - it's one of the sources I use for articles, so I occasionally get PRWeb releases brought to my attention from google news alerts. I do the emediawire thing too, but there's so much info, it's a little cumbersome for me to parse through everything.
It's fairly easy to get your Press Release on Yahoo/Google news, you simply need to contribute a certain amount (I believe $30) through PRWeb. It doesn't have to be of novel-quality, but make sure it has as few grammar and spelling mistakes as possible or else it's not worth releasing.
I have two PRs that I wrote for a client that are on the Google News right now that were done via PRWeb. Searching for "fat flush" "diet support network" "diet plan" and a string of other phrases should show the one we did on the 12th and again today (26th). At last check, "diet plan showed positions 1 and 2 for these two press releases.
So when you invest $30 how many articles can you actually get on to google news? Or is that $30 per article?
It's $30/release - and it is important to keep in mind that this is a press release, not an actual article. Here are some great tips from prweb.com. Good luck!
